About Us

Hi, my name is Wendy.

I have 14 years experience working with pets, large and small. After I finished school I was hired as a Veterinarian’s Assistant by McCleary Animal Hospital. Later in my career I was general manager of a chain of pet stores in Mississauga for eight years and my most rewarding job was with the Oakville Humane Society as an Adoption Agent. I also volunteered at Jungle Cat World in Orono and at The Toronto Wildlife Centre.

I own three rescue dogs, two Old English Mastiffs and a Jack Russell Cross. I’m a compassionate, reliable and responsible person that is genuinely interested in your pet’s care, and safety. I’m certified in Pet First Aid and able to administer any medication your pet may need, including insulin injections for diabetic pets. Paws in Motion is fully licensed, insured and bonded.

Wendy, and Paws in Motion, took Nelly capably out in off leash parks, and gave her the experience and opportunity to have fun. Wendy handled her with love and firmness, so much so, that on the weekends, Nelly would wait expectantly for Wendy's van - this from a dog who had to be pulled out the door when we first adopted her!–Farida in East York

Paws in Motion has been in our life for 2 years now and we couldn't be happier with their service. Our pup is our pride and joy and we know he is in excellent hands when Wendy takes him out for the day! We always come home to a tuckered pooch and we know how hard it is to tire our little guy out!–Kendra from the Beaches

Wendy is the best dog walker ever! When our dog Jessie joined our family he was a shy, withdrawn little guy who was scared to go outside. With Wendy's supreme kindness and patience, Jessie is now the life of the party - he is beside himself with excitement as soon as Wendy comes in the door.–The Carnegie-Knapps (East York)

Wendy is absolutely fantastic with our two energetic boxers, and she handles them with ease. The dogs love her and are always excited to see her when she arrives to pick them up.–Robby Brooks
